Blake Ashburn

After 10 years as a graphic designer, Blake found a passion in personal training and Pilates. While realizing that he wasn't a 'personal trainer', Pilates struck his interest and form.

In 2014, Blake decided to take the plunge into the world of Classical Pilates, by starting his training with Peak Pilates. Starting from scratch, he quickly learned that the world of Pilates was much more than he ever imagined. During his Level 1 training, he found a passion deeper than he thought he could through his training and clients, which brought him to Level 2. Level 2 gave Blake an understanding of Pilates that delved him deeper into his training, while opening his eyes to new exercises while building upon the foundation of Joseph Pilates.

Blake has a strong focus of fundamental exercises, core exercises, and fun wrapped into a 55 minute session that will empower you to not only work harder, but feel stronger throughout your day.

Portia Hansen

Portia first discovered Pilates at the age 15 and has been hooked ever since! She realized even at a young age how Pilates can change your body for the better and even helped improve her chronic asthma.
Many years later, while living in New York City, Portia became a certified Personal Trainer. Although she loved this aspect of fitness, she quickly rediscovered her love of Pilates and became a Power Pilates Instructor, teaching in both Manhatten and Brooklyn.

Portia loves teaching within the classical method of Pilates, because it works! It challenges every part of the body and you leave feeling stronger and maybe even a little bit taller. Her goal is to continually provide everyone with a safe, yet challenging and fun workout!

When not chasing her 3 children under the age of 4, Portia can be found running or biking throughout Georgetown, pushing the kids in tow. She loves being active with her kids and teaching them the importance of exercise. She is also passionate about music and plays the piano, flute and cello. Come watch her play the cello in the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra!
